Can you see the baby in this picture?

Step away from your computer.

Stand 5 feet away.

Squint your eyes for ummm, 15 seconds, yeah, 15 seconds, and then try to unfocus them.

We promise there's a baby in this picture, just keep looking!

We also promise that there's a man in the coffee beans (although this one is way easier than the baby one)

Haven't seen the baby yet? Well, for those of you with inferior eyes we'll show you where he is.

And while we're sure everyone got the coffee bean one, here's where that creepy bald dude is.

It's amazing how these things work. taa daaaa!

Our Week

Happy Monday everyone! We don't really have much to say, but, um, we just felt like posting!

Here are some highlights from our week:

Grandma Hutchison came and babysat Jacob while momma and daddy went to Phantom of the Opera for their anniversary. (thank you!)

His Grandaddy Hutchison had a birthday and turned...hmmm...29?

Jacob helped daddy decorate and organize his new office by guzzling 10 ounces in 4 hours.

He also helped mom and dad dabble in real estate (actually they were just trying to get over their phobia of falling trees in order to find a suitable house).

Jacob cooed his way through the primary program today. He watched mommy direct all those kiddies and was absolutely delightful...so Matt tells me.

He witnessed a near "perfect weekend" in the which the Braves swept the Marlins, Alabama beat Arkansas, but sadly BYU lost to TCU by ONE STINKING POINT!!!

And most importantly he was dern near impossibly cute each and every minute. These pictures are proof of that. Nice chair he's sitting on too, eh?

A la peanut butter sandwiches!

Poof! Brace yourselves... Prepare yourselves... Three months have been good to baby boy Jacob. It's time to test your comparative size perception skills. We tried to put Jacob in the same basic situations that he was in in the pictures from his birthday post to show how much he's grown. Enjoy!

Sorry the tint is so yellow, I messed with it in our photoshop thingie...it sort of adds to his mystique though, considering the look on his face.

Remember this little shirt? He's wearing it in a lot of the previous pictures.

What a pitiful swaddle. But honestly, he's so big I just can't do it! Check out those legs!

Those booties might as well be painted on. They were soooooo tight.

Mid roll

And here's something that's definitely gotten better with age.

Hmph.

Well, since all of you readers were too busy to ooh and aah over Jacob's pictures...we were just too busy to post the promised update pictures tonight. So there.

(But please, do enjoy the previous post and leave us lots of juicy comments. Thanks!)

Happy Birthday to Jacob!

Today Jacob is three months old. Our little boy is growing up! And aging beautifully. We pulled out the camcorder last night and looked at just how tiny our boy was and how much he's grown. Enjoy a look back at the first few weeks of his life and tonight we'll post some today pictures for comparison.

Brand new

In the hospital with his Mother Teresa blanket

With his body double

Tiny, tiny man (um, I guess we could put this caption with all of these)

The Circle of Life...or our little Man Cub

Our first glimpse at how curly his hair really was, and apparently (by the look on his face) his first glimpse of daylight

Look at those tiny (or teeniney or witsie) legs

Again, note those legs! (he didn't get those from momma!)

Little pink skin and tiny nobbly knees

Maxin' and relaxin'

"The Moneymaker": the only way to hold him to get him to calm down, now he's so big we really can hardly do it

Misery! (Some things never change)

The bouncer that saved us all, the ONLY place he would sleep

Smell something bad son?

What a sweet little wrinkly body!

I love this picture, daddy looks so refreshed (which belies the amount of sleep he was getting) and so proud

Little buddha legs, but no buddha belly!

Blessing day

This looks like one of those eye trick pictures, do you see the baby in this picture? (Jacob's the little guy in the middle)

This was one of our first days alone with him (no grandmas or grandpas to help us)

And life rolls on...

...we think.

We have some news!

On Monday daddy did something very special. (Aside from playing with and loving Jacob and helping mommy clean bottles, etc.)

He started a new job!!! Congratulations Daddy from your boy and your beautiful wife. We're awful proud of you. We're excited for life at Taylor Consulting Group.

And while you're busy at work valuing mergers and acquisitions, Jacob will be busy at home figuring this guy out...

And he'll be ready to smile at you and play, play, play (or cry, cry, cry...depending on his mood) when you get home.

We love you!

(Please excuse the poor quality/pale and sickly pictures...we're between cameras right now and so we're using the camera setting on our camcorder. And one megapixel really is just one lowsy megapixel.)
