"How amazing to see him lay still!", and "I wish he'd cuddle like this with us more," we said.
Little did we know that we would get our wish. J's been sick with some sort of cold/stomach bug hybrid, and for a few days has only wanted to cuddle in our arms and drift off to sleep on the couch with us. And while the cuddles have been nice, we are anxious for less sickness & snuggle-time and more of pretty much any kind of belligerence, independence and/or heck-raising from him (see entire blog). We'll publish some pics of cuddly ol' sick-man Jacob once our house of sickness and convalescence is on the mend. Hopefully we'll see you soon!

More sickness? It's nice to have them cuddle, but it sometimes comes with a heavy heart. Would you guys hurry up and get better?
It breaks this Grandmas heart to see the little J/man looking so sad and listless. It's gone on for too long! So glad Grandma Jan could come and help. We are keeping you all in our prayers at this time.

I was so glad to hear Jan was on the scene to help you guys during this illness. Robyn, we have been so worried about you. Sweet boy looks like he thinking about how great it was to feel well before this hit. Hope by the time you get this, you all will be well.

As Maddie said "Please bless Robyn and the kid" We are all thinking about you and are hopeful things are on the mend. I hope Matt got Presidents Day off. Not only to help you but to get some needed rest. Remember the care giver (including you mom) sometimes has it the worst. Thinking and Praying for you all. Dad

We love you guys so much, and hope all is really improving. Maddie is still praying for Jacob and Robyn and Matt. Infact we had a play date with Brandon and he said the prayer for lunch and (naturally) did not pray for you all. Maddie gave him a litte lecture about how sick you all are and that you NEED our blessings. I would like to ask his mommy if he has started praying for Maddies family.
