We played at Crown Fountain.

We skipped and pranced.

We met daddy and headed over to a concert at Millennium Park.
We ate Subway sandwiches.

And then we made funny faces while we listened to the orchestra.
Daddy's shoes!

Mommy's sunglasses!
Nicholas's legs!
Nico yelling "cheese!"
Daddy imitating Nico's "cheese!"

Daddy trying to block Nico's "cheese!" in a (vain) attempt to not disturb our fellow concert-goers.

A monkey popping his neck!

Oh yeah, and Grandma Jan wanted to know where Nico picked up this crinkled smile.

I have no idea.

It's fun to have days like that.
You guys are silly.
I was going to tell Grandma Jan, "Robyn's been doing that smile all her life!" And then I saw your photo. :)
What a fun post. Thanks for all of the fun pictures of your family adventures in Chicago.
A great adventure. Jacob's picture dancing in the water reminded me of Woodstock. Especially the low riding shorts. Great pic's which tell a great story.
Looks like loads of fun.
i love these fun photos! aren't the concerts at the park so awesome? it has become one of my favorite summer things to do in chicago.
that sounds so fun! what a good mommy to plan, pack, and push strollers! what a fun family day!
I, how I wish we could have crashed your party!! You make me so home-sick, or more specifically Chicago-sick and Hutch-sick.
Let's do that again in about a month, huh? (as if the weather will cooperate).
Did you make a decision about strollers because now you got me thinking and I'm really interested in doing whatever you do.
I LOVE this post! You look like you were having so so so so so much fun!
Great post! Pictures tell the story. Chicago is FUN in the summer!!!
Okay, the skipping and prancing pictures are adorable. So cute.
Great pics with lots of funny faces. It reminds me of Pam and I growing up. We spent hours looking in the mirror pulling faces, and laughing our heads off.
