Baby Einstein

While every parent believes and hopes that their child will be a genius and truly amount to something (and make them look like amazing parents)...we know that it is not possible for all children to be so intellectually gifted.

But we think Jacob has a good chance at genius-hood. What do you think?

that is among the absolute coolest posts i've been privy (sp?) to. the boy's hair does have the propensity to be out of control. and apparently curly.

my favorite picture was the one of only jacob's eyes, FOREHEAD, and hair. sweet.

although i must admit i'm somewhat sleptical of this proposed theory. while i think it is safe to say that the hair came from the daddy, the correlation of the wild hair to potential genius qualities must come from factors unrelated to his paternal gene pool. (no offense to you mom and dad, but how many a's did either of you get in quantum mechanics? me niether.)

the daddy loves the mommy.

Now those of the makings of fine Christmas card photos. That is what the real little man---looks like during play time.

Now, we know sibling rivalry exists, so we assume there is cousin rivalry. With the advent of little Gideon's birth, we want Jacob to know that we still hinge our day on HIS posts and pictures. This blog makes us feel like he lives right here, and we can see his progress and his genius each day. Our fridge is getting pretty loaded up with his little face (and hair).

We love you all.

No offense taken.
Do they make brealcream anymore?
Really, I love Jacob's wild and crazy hair and knowing it is a good chance that it is hiding his brilliance...(why doesn't this blog thing have spell check?...I had to do a WORD copy/paste...it gave me no options with brealcream or blog)...well he is just adorable.

I didn't see Jan's blog until after I typed this message:

Robyn, we need to talk about the baby-gel thing. Grandma Hilda needs to see if NuSkin has it in their baby line. At least we could find some baby mousse. A little curl, a little shine . . . I had to revisit this blog today to cheer me up. What an expressive face! Meredith tells me he taken to "a-goos" to express himself vocally. What killer parenting you guys are doing :)

Do they make boy barretts! Matt would love them.

Transcription of my reaction to this post:

"Hahahahahahaha (tears streaming down face)! How cute and expressive can one boy BE? I want to hug Jacob right NOW."

I like to think that naturally curly hair tickles the brain--stimulating otherwise untapped genius tendencies . . . or at the very least creating some memorable moments for the little genius' primary hairstylist.

I totally dig the "just eyes and wild locks" photo too. Mom is not only a poet, she's also a talented paparazza (I think that's a word . . . ).

I love that boy. Maybe it's dumb to say this, but he reminds me of the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme--"Who can turn the world on with a smile?" Thanks for sharing him with us.

I know I say it everytime, but you are so creative with these weblogs (I hadn't a clue that is where the word 'blog' came from.) I would have to sit around all day everyday (more than a full time job) to come up with ideas like you!
I also ~obviously~ checked out your sister's website (because I learned what a blog is). What a very handsome dude Ian is! Maddie is a doll. Are her eyes really as dark as they appear in pictures? You can certainly tell that she is such a proud older sister. I hope her stomach pains (or sympathy pains for her mommy or whatever that was in her belly) have passed now!

Yes, we have just the stuff at nuskin LuAnn....pomade....works just like brillcream Jan.
Maybe the best thing would be to invest in a "flowbie." But then we wouldn't all feel the joy everytime we blog on.
I do agree that most of the wild hair probably came from you Matt, but I have to admit that maybe a small amt of it came from me. Every morning before I work it over, I receive a huge surprise as I take my first pass in the mirror. Does Phyllis Diller mean anything to you?
Just wish we could hug and squeeze him more often and run our fingers through his locks.
Love you

leland the "gramp",

at least he has clothes on.

there's picture of garrett and me somewhere taken when we were in the shower when we were about 5 and 3 yrs old (maybe older). gratefully, i was holding a strategically placed shampoo bottle. g wasn't so lucky; he needed to be censored with a piece of tape.

We had the YSA over Monday for FHE. Pace gave the lesson on things scientist thought they knew but found out later they were wrong. It was interesting but a little over my head. Anyway, Einstein's name came up and I showed everyone the blog. They loved it! I did too. Love you all!
