I really like these two. Especially at these moments. Not so much during power struggles. Or tantrums. Or whining. Or fights over toys. Or brazen defiance. But here? Man, I really like them. It is oh so easy for me to not appreciate these moments when they come. They sneak up on me so quietly sometimes I just don't notice. Darling.

Just Reading
A few weeks ago, when Jacob had his infamous stomach bug (the one Nicholas had had a few days before with minimal problems), I found the boys in Jacob's messy, messy room like this.

I love that Jacob is sharing his knowledge with Nico, and that messy room is reminiscent of two little girls I know. :)
Love it! I hope that the flash from your camera didn't end that moment either!
I could go on and on about how great books and reading are for kids, but I'll spare you. Your boys are adorable.
You are so right. It is the quiet times that we so often miss. You are a wonderful mother to seek out and appreciate the still, silent moments!
What a sweet moment to capture and enjoy! Glad you get those sweet, peaceful moments to help renergize you! I'm loving your new camera too and all of the wonderful new posts! I've been a slacker for keeping caught up & comments but we are so happy & thrilled for you 3 to have another adorable baby amongst you soon! Don't worry & hang in there, everything will work itself out :] You can do it friend~*
And spring will be here soon to chase away the gloomy gray days of winter & all of the nasty sick bugs :]
Love, Chelsea
