Well, not the very same thing. This time the real, live baby in my tummy is a girl one! Coming on 11/12/13...planning is one of the few good things about c-sections. We are very excited and super shocked. A lot of people have been coming up high five-ing us and saying things like, "you finally got the girl!" or "I bet you're relieved!", but we really went for a fourth kid to have a fourth kid. In fact, I'd thought so much about a fourth boy that I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. Like, no more little baby boys in this outfit?! When you get three deep into a gender it's a bit hard to imagine switching. That being said, we are so excited to have a daughter and we hope that somehow we'll figure it all out. I mean, I am a girl, after all.
We are very grateful that she seems to be healthy and is plenty squirmy. Here's to the brave new world of girls (gulp). Hello sweet baby!

You do have to get excited about the small perks to having a c-section huh!?! :] My baby Preston was born last Nov (ahh, craziness!) so I can totally understand how you must be feeling right now...I'm reliving it & feeling for ya!
