I heartily agree. Here's the proof.

1. Googly eyes (I wonder what Matt was looking at, it must have been sca-ry)
2. Lotsa hair
3. Nose
4. Eyes
5. Interest in things other than cameras
6. "Guns" (brauny arms)
7. "Pistons" (brauny legs)
8. Curled under, bubbly toes
From his Momma:
1. Less hair than his daddy had (I guess my baldness thinned his hair out, check out the mane Matt had!)
2. Maybe his mouth, although I have other pics of Jacob that show a Matt-ey mouth
crickets chirping
And there we have it! But I'm not worried one bit about him not looking much like me, and I'll show you why.
Now that's a handsome man. If having a child not look like me means that we get to perpetuate this wonderfulness, then I'm all for it.

Oh so cute!!!!Matt and Mini Matt. Won't they just be adorable at Father's and Son's! It will be hard to tell who's who. I'm going to have to send a picture of Robyn as a baby so we can all play "Find Robyn's features in Jacob."

What a boy and man! Robyn, I see your mouth on that son of yours. I am glad your mom is sending some of your baby pictures. But there is little wonder that when Garrett holds Jacob that he thinks he is in a time machine, holding his older brother!
Keep these pictures coming! I am eager to show Jacob off to my CAGG folks tomorrow. Love you all.
Guess who. Grandma Gamette made a trip over to my house to get a load of the little man. I was thrilled to see new pictures of him this morning. She came to see the bath pictures which still delight us---soooo she got a double surprise. Double boys who look just alike! She thinks baby Jacob is adorable and GROWING so much. Whatever the feeding schedule is he is obviously liking it. She was sorry not to see a picture of you,Robyn,and Matt together. I guess Jacob can't take a picture yet.
She's amazed Jacob (and Matt) can make it through three hour church---she can hardly to that.
It is hot, hot, hot here, but you know all about that.
You might keep Leontine in your prayers. She is having some health concerns right now.

My word... yes, baby Jacob does look like his daddy when Matt was a newborn - with thinner hair... He is precious, and I cannot wait to hold him in my arms..

I agree with what Aunt Hilda said--Matt can just call Jacob "mini-Me." I'm sure when you have a girl, she will look exactly like you, Robyn. If we are completely honest with ourselves, you are just too feminine to have a boy look lots like you.
I have to tell you about a dream that I had two nights ago. The three of you were out here, and we were having a fancy party with all of your friends to celebrate. I was ecstatic when I got to hold Jacob for a little while. All of a sudden, he turned to me and said, "I know you. You're Aunt Meredith!"
My mouth fell open and I grabbed Robyn's arm, saying,"This is the most extraordinary child I have ever seen! Barely a month old and he was talking to me!"
Robyn smiled politely and turned to another guest, so I started shouting. "Can anyone believe this baby?! He is CONVERSING!"
At this point, Jacob smiled politely and said, "It's been a pleasure to have you hold me, but I think I'd better spend some time with the other guests now." Someone's arms opened up and he was gone.
I woke up shouting to the room, "This baby is only a month old and he already knows how to work a room!"
Sorry, that was kinda long. Just wanted you to know that I even love your boy and think he's tres special in my dreams. I love you guys!
