And he looked a little bit like Babe Ruth for the first 5 hours. Not ugly like the Babe (no offense), but he just had a wrinkly, stretched sort of look that first day.

Then things like this started happening. Gasp. Those cheeks!

Then the dark part of his life came. (Colic.) Mommy and daddy were lined and wan pretty much all of the time and Nicholas was pretty testy himself. But when the Colic devil wasn't dancing on his shoulder he really seemed to be a relaxed, sweet little man. And so he was. He's been a model baby and a real delight. Check him (and his hair) out through these last nine months!

Happy 9 months boy. We love you!

That is one happy, adorable baby. How did we get on without him before he was born?
I love the picture of him laughing with Matt.
And, it must be said, I love 'Colas as "the Fonz."
That was so fun to walk down Nicholas Lane!
I liked the Dracula Do!!! (2nd to last)
and I loved his beautiful eyes in the last picture!
Can it be...our adorable baby is sitting up all by himself? He certainly is a winner - I love all his stages. I got such a kick out of the after bath "slick back" do.
Love, Mom
Where has the time gone?
Andrea's question is mine. How has he grown up so fast? Robyn, you definitely have a soft spot for this guy. I can "hear" your love with every word I read. Enjoy him as he is growing fast. Little did we know how long his hair would get in a few short months. Love Nicholas!
what a sweet recap. I love how scrapbbooky your blog is.
So cute and fun too going down memory lane. Yeah, time flies way tooo fast! I didn't know he has colic-that is such the pits, I am sooo sorry. I'm glad he's such a sweetie now. I too love that picture of him and Matt on the couch-their expressions are priceless. And yes, the last photo is so darling! Cute, cute, cute!!!
Love, Chelsea
